To have something you're truly after in the long run, you have to be willing to give up even some good opportunities.
You have to be willing to give up something that is convenient but doesn't fit in other ways. Something that doesn't match with your ultimate goal.
You have to be willing to say no to things you wouldn't have asked to do. It may feel like you're missing out. That doesn't matter.
You have to be willing to not do something even if there are lots of reasons to do it. One good reason not to can make up for 100 reasons to do it.
You have to create space to fill with your purpose. Even if that purpose isn't clear. You see, when space is too cluttered, nothing will ever come to visit.
