Powder versus Capsules versus whole food…oh my

Ever wonder how much truth there is that your body cannot absorb vitamins and minerals from capsules as well as liquid, powder or from whole food (such as a vitamin-infused granola bar)?

Well, for most this simply is not true. It’s marketing hype to get you to purchase overpriced supplements. After an exhaustive review of consumer reports, there is absolutely no difference in the majority of supplements absorption whether it’s from capsules or anything else.

However, if you have a lack of stomach acid or you find that capsules upset your stomach, it might be worth it to you to shell out the extra money for liquid and powder supplements.
