Kevon Plouffe, CSCS, LMT, YFS1
"A functional human being is athletic by nature."
Kevon is a graduate of Fitchburg State University's Exercise and Sports Science program, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and a Licensed Massage Therapist. Together, with certifications in youth fitness and track and field, Kevon's training philosophy emphasizes movement in space, rather than within movement-restricted machines. He believes that a variety of movements and skills should be learned young and practiced throughout life. Training and exercise are absolutely necessary tools for controlling one's health and independence.
Kevon also has an immense appreciation for the power of food. He is currently finishing a certification to solidify his knowledge of sport and health nutrition. All together, there is a synergistic relationship that Kevon utilizes for improved health, fitness, and sport performance. Kevon's approach is entirely holistic, with a focus on the whole person and for the long-term.
Kevon loves the feeling he gets after exercising and he admits to a similarly euphoric feeling when digging into a large plate of nachos (Not ALL the time!). He enjoys many kinds of music, a good laugh, and thinks cat videos are hilarious.
He works with all ages--6 to 96.
