How to Diet Without Giving Up The Foods You Love
1. Make a list of your ten favorite high-calorie foods.
2. Break down each food into healthy components and components in need of substitution.
3. Look for low-fat, low-calorie versions of those ‘fattening’ components. If you can't find any, consider new ways to create a dish that is close to your favorite in taste, but without the calories.
4. Surf the internet for low-calorie recipes for your favorite dishes. The internet is loaded with recipes like this, and many of them have the calorie and macronutrient breakdowns already computed for you. Or, buy a copy of a low-calorie cookbook that appeals to you, and try a new recipe each week.
